As part of our client’s continual investment in plant and machinery, more specifically their strategic time lined upgrading of their foundry and metrology departments, there now exists an opportunity to purchase, by private treaty, the complete contents of one of their processing lines from their low pressure, gravity diecasting facility and several Co-ordinate Measuring Machines.
The Processing Line
This comprises:
- Sand Mixer – Unknown OEM and unknown Kg/Hr discharge
- 6-Station Carousel – Facilitating 6 x 1.3 x 0.59 L x W roller tracks
- Primary Attrition / Shake Out Deck – 1.15 x 1.0 L x W
- Auto Loader that serves the Shake Out Deck cw Hydraulic Pack
- Quantity of gravity roller track serving this part of the line

Buyer(s) to dismantle and remove items from site. RAMS is a feature of this sale. Egress is excellent as the assets are positioned immediately adjacent to a roller shutter door.
The CMMs…
- An LK Metrology Bridge Type CMM, Type – G90C, Serial No – 15565/98, YOM – May 1998, last co-ordinated September 2020
This CMM has been little used (vendor comment) and this can be witnessed by the overall condition of the item. Note – we were unable to witness the CMM working as the compressor that supported this CMM had been removed at the time of our site visit, but our client advises that the CMM was fully operational prior to the disconnection.
The Buyer is s to skate this CMM out of position and lift/load. RAMS will be required for this activity.
- 2 x Faro Gold – Portable Co-Ordinate Measuring Machines
These items were not witnessed by us under power and operational. Please note that there is no serial number on Faro Arm #1: this is a condition of sale. The serial number for Faro Arm #2 is G08020002063.
