EMAG VSC 400 Duo Machining Cell.
Our client is part of a well respected engineering group in the South West of England. As a consequence of its rolling investment programme an EMAG VSC 400 Duo Machining Cell has become available.
This machining cell will ideally be sold complete with its powered loading / unloading conveyors, its pick and place mechanical handling devices, and its chip / swarf removal unit. However we do welcome bids on the separate units, should you not require everything.
This cell is designed to enable one operator to carry out two turning processes on a component on one single machine occupying a small footprint.
- Multi-spindle machine, occupying a small footprint, machining components in first and second operation.
- Can be used for identical machining cycles (as currently configured) or different cycles subject to repurposing:
– 2 separate machining areas
– Siemens operating system
– 2 independently programmable disc-type turrets to enable sequential operations (OP 10 + OP 20)

The Swarf Conveyor is by the French OEM, Sermeto Equipement Industriel, serial number 2130-01, MOM 03 2011.
As can be seen by the videos, the machine is working, however when powered up and operated by our client on 6 January 2021 messages appeared suggesting there are drive and chiller faults. Buyer to investigate such faults, viewing recommended.
The machine is available by private treaty for a short time only. In the event that it does not sell that way, we shall include it in our next online auction. This would see the level of Buyer’s Premium increase, so please consider buying now.
Access / egress will be by a roller shutter door adjacent to the cell.
