Contents of a Ferrous Foundry for Sale – Swan Foundry,Oxfordshire

Our client, Swan Foundry, has ceased to trade, and as a consequence we are offering for sale the contents of their foundry by private treaty.

The Swan Foundry is located in Banbury, Oxfordshire and produced grey and ductile iron castings.

What are we selling?

Foundry Machinery

1. Omega Spartan Sand Mixer, Complete with Control Panel – capacity 10 Tonne per Hour. Silos available if required. *

3. Richards Bullet Core Blower (10 litres)
4. Guest Core Blower (10 Litres)
5. Guest Core Blower (25 Litres). Vendor comment: this blower ‘is not operational, but we don’t think it would take too much of a service to get it going again’.
6. Tilghman Tumble Blast Shot Blasting Machine C/w Skip Loader: foundry / forging grade machine, with steel slatted belt. Please note there is no dust extractor and that during a recent test a problem was noticed which will need attention (details awaited). *

Timeline for this sale

• Viewing day 10 December 9am to 4pm by arrangements with the sole selling agent, ADS
• Offers to be submitted to ADS by 5pm 17 December 2020, by email to phil@assetdisposalservices.co.uk
• Assets to be removed from site by successful buyers by 29 January 2021 unless special dispensation given beforehand in writing by our client. RAMS will be a feature of some items at this site.

ADS can introduce you to a professional decommissioning and re-commissioning agent who has a good working knowledge of the machinery in this foundry, having worked on some of the assets in it, and can put it back to work for you in your facility. Let us know if you would like to be introduced. Note that any arrangements would be between you and the de-/re- commissioner, neither us nor Swan Foundry will be involved in these.
