Carlo Banfi Interflex 1000 / 12TP1EMC/15 Automatic Shot Blasting Machine

Our client is a successful iron foundry based in the West Midlands.

This is a once in a working lifetime opportunity as this make and model of machine does not come to the market often. This machine, if bought new, would be a very substantial investment for any company, and as such this opportunity to buy in a used condition for a fraction of the price of new should not be missed.

Available RIGHT NOW with no extended lead time.

If it’s not suitable at the moment because of other things that are going on in your business, you should seriously consider buying it now and then storing it until such time as you want to put it to use, as you will regret missing it.

Due to a change in the product mix and volume, our client now seeks a sale of their Interflex 1000 / 12TP1EMC/15 Automatic Shot Blasting Machine, complete with Steel Mesh Conveyor, by Carlo Banfi, now part of OMSG Group.

This machine has been used for the shotblasting of ferrous components and is the heavy-duty variant for iron or steel castings, complete with magnetic separator and vibrating screen to remove contaminants from the media during the operation.

A particular feature of this machine is the attention that has been paid to health and safety features, including e-stops and an emergency pull-cord running the length of the conveyor on the outfeed, to shut the machine down in the event of an incident.

Please note that there is no infeed or outfeed conveyor. Please note that the LEV/Dust extractor and the control panel to it that can be seen in some of the images in the brochure is not included in the sale.

On the day of our appraisal (30 August 2023), we did not see the machine working, but are assured by our client that it is operational (but without media as it has been emptied) and can be seen so. Viewing essential.

This is a serious shotblasting machine, that has a big appetite and could be put back to work in foundries producing high volumes of components often using DISAMATIC (DISA) lines, or in forging applications where shotblasting is a feature of the production cycle.

Our client has indicated that they would be prepared to assist any buyer with the removal of this machine. This would be a separate matter between the buyer and our client to arrange between them. Please note that RAMS will be required.
