This auction is for the clearance of selected assets from 3 wheel rim manufacturing lines at their world class manufacturing facilities in Telford, Shropshire.
Further complimented by a 2,500 Tonne Mechanical Press complete with die loading bogey and an extensive Electropainting facility plus a good number of other assets used both in the production lines and elsewhere at the same facility, this represents a unique opportunity to acquire equipment used by world leaders in their field.
All the selected assets available from the wheel rim production lines are operational at the point of sale and can be seen working on the viewing days.
This is a clearance sale, which is being conducted by on-line timed auction and is due to the huge re-investment program that has been on-going under Project Swan at the Telford site, that now bears witness to possibly the most modern advanced wheel rim manufacturing facility in the world.
The selected equipment that is being made available includes machinery capable of:
- Handling sheet metal
- Band forming
- Circle rolling
- Shearing burrs
- Profile Rolling
- Robotic mig welding
- Robotic handling
Together with a fully functioning and automated degreasing, electropainting and wet spray facility.
Crucially, as this is a clearance sale there will be NO BUYERS’ PREMIUM ON ANY OF THE LOTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE PRODUCTION LINES. Furthermore, we are under instructions to report the best bids on the hammer to our client for their consideration at the end of the auction FOR ALL LOTS, in essence buyers may assume that there are no reserves.
