What information do we collect and how?
We collect personal information from and about you in two ways:
1. Information about your computer and about your visits to and use of this website. The information that we collect includes information about your browser, your IP address, your general location as determined from your IP address and provided by your browser, any site from which you have come, and the links followed when leaving our site (‘Analytics Data‘).
This ‘more general’ type of information about you is collected through Google Analytics. This data is collected to help us understand how effective our marketing activity is. It is not used to contact you.
2. When you voluntarily register to receive our newsletters / circularisations of the assets we sell and / or services we or trusted third parties provide; call, email or meet with us and ask that we register you; or when you connect with us via social media sites including Linkedin, Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, Vimeo or others.
The information that we collect in 2. which is ‘more specific’ to you will include your name, your company’s name, your email address, your telephone number (‘Data Type A’) and any other details asked for and which you provide including details of the specific asset or service you are or may be interested in and your business strategy (Data Type B). We record electronically the information you give us and add to it publicly available data we obtain on the financial strength of your company and information held on places like your company’s website(s). We will then use Data Type A and Data Type B to contact you about specific assets we might be dealing with and services we or our trusted partners might be able to provide to you.
Disclosure of your data to third parties
From time to time we use a third party telephone marketing company to make calls on our behalf. We will provide them with Data Type A details, so they can contact you. They will not be provided with Data Type B.
We use an internet based mailing system, Mailerlite, to send out our bulk circulars/newsletters of available assets/services. Who do this we have to load into Mailerlite the data at data Type A. Mailerlite will not be provided with Data Type B.
Other than these two instances, your Data Type A and data Type B information will not be disclosed to any third party unless you have given your consent to such disclosure.
We may however disclose aggregate statistics about our site visitors, clients and sales in order to describe our services to prospective partners, advertisers and other reputable third parties and for other lawful purposes, but these statistics will include no personally identifying information.
Unsubscribing and deleting
If at any time you are unhappy with how we use your information, how or how often we contact you, or just simply do not want to hear from us any more, just send an email to email@example.com with the words UNSUBSCRIBE in the subject box or telephone us on 01902 672323 and talk to Paul, and we will delete you from our records.
Alternatively, because every email message sent out using Mailerlite includes an option to unsubscribe, just click on the appropriate link.
If you would like us to destroy the information we hold about you, please let us know by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org with the the word ‘DELETE MY INFORMATION in the subject box. However, please note that if there have been any financial dealings with you, there is a limit on what we can delete – we must retain documents such as copy invoices, details of receipts and payments and supporting information for tax and other legal reasons.
